Ticwave Solution GmbH Introduces the TicKit-420G-CT: Real-Time Terahertz Computed Tomography at 420 GHz
Ticwave Solution GmbH proudly announces a new milestone in terahertz imaging with the launch of the TicKit-420G-CT Starter Kit, enabling real-time terahertz computed tomography at 420 GHz.
Built around the TicSA-420G terahertz source array and the TicCAM-1.1kpix imaging camera, the TicKit-420G-CT delivers true real-time 3D imaging and reconstruction for non-destructive testing (NDT) applications. The compact system achieves full-volume 3D imaging at up to 2 frames per second, providing clear insight into internal structures of materials such as cardboard and other industrial components.
In the demonstration setup, a rotating connector is imaged live, revealing precise internal geometries and validating the platform’s capability for genuine real-time 3D reconstruction—a key requirement for industrial inspection and quality control.
Designed for portability, the TicKit-420G-CT supports low-power, battery-operated use, combining high-frequency terahertz performance with a compact form factor. This makes advanced terahertz computed tomography accessible beyond the laboratory, enabling practical on-site inspection, rapid prototyping, and system evaluation.
